I have been a piper since I was a teenager. That is more years ago now than I care to consider!
I started playing with local pipe bands when I learned and have been playing solo for my own enjoyment in recent years (although the lure of pipe bands is beginning to call to me again...)
I consider myself a competent piper. That means I am happy to make myself available for hire and you will be happy with the service you receive. Will I win solo competitions? No. But I'm cheaper than the guys that do :-)
I've never marketed my services before and have always just performed at gigs I was approached for through word of mouth , so for the (probably very brief) moment, I have a fairly empty diary - Get in quick!
I'm laid back and easy going and am happy to work with you to come up with a suitable plan for your event
I have quite a few years playing on the pipe band circuit and have played at quite a few weddings and funerals. I also play for the Moray Chamber of Commerce annual awards dinner.
I wear standard highland dress (Argyll - see photos). I play my beautiful McCallum blackwood bagpipes with Celtic engraving.
