Has been a piping instructor at Edinburgh Castle and has been on many tours of the world both as a soldier and a piper.

Thank you very much for all you did yesterday to make my dad's funeral such a memorable occasion. Your wonderful playing of two beautiful tunes, your very smart and impressive appearance and your dignity all helped us to give Dad the funeral he both wanted and deserved. We particularly appreciated your professionalism and calm and quiet manner, getting on with the task without fuss. As my nephews said: You nailed it! Your salute at the end did not go unnoticed and as a former soldier, Dad would have loved that. I know that this came at the end of a difficult week for you and hope that, like us, you are now having a rest!
