Piper for all occasions. He is based centrally in West Yorkshire but willing to travel anywhere in the UK or abroad. His experience of playing the Scottish bagpipes extends over 40 years, playing solo and in world class pipe bands and has played at all types of occasion. Every enquiry is treated and priced individually to guarantee that your piping experience is tailored to your requirements. He also has three different dress styles to choose from.
He has appeared on TV and radio, performed with orchestras, and taken part in international music and dance festivals, as well as pipe band competitions across Britain, America, Canada and Europe.
Highly experienced and versatile, he has played at every type of occasion, including weddings, funerals, corporate functions, private parties and community events. He also performs for Highland and Scottish Country dancing and ceilidhs.
With his extensive repertoire and long professional background, he can suggest suitable tunes or perform specific requests when appropriate for the pipes. His knowledge of Scottish tradition also makes him an excellent advisor for organising Burns Suppers, and he is highly regarded for his expert delivery of the Address to the Haggis.

With a wide repertoire of traditional and contemporary pipe tunes, he can advise on selections ranging from well-known favourites to pieces with special meaning for your occasion. He is also happy to accommodate special requests where suitable for the pipes.
Drawing on extensive experience, he chooses tunes that suit the moment, the mood and the setting, positioning himself appropriately to create the best atmosphere. He has brought tears of joy to many guests and had others dancing moments later — a testament to his sensitivity and musical versatility.
His playing times are flexible and can be arranged to suit your event. He is accustomed to adapting at short notice, and once on site, he is generally able to adjust timings depending on other commitments.
He is also happy to meet in advance (distance permitting) or arrange a convenient time for you to hear some tune options and discuss the musical plan for your event.

Just a few lines to thank you very sincerely from both Janet and I, for your splendid contributions to both our ‘Spring Fling' and our Civic Service of Thanksgiving last weekend. Both events were given a very special flourish by your piping and we feel it added immeasurably to the sense of occasion on both days. Many people commented to us on the real ‘stir' the sound of the pipes caused. Your playing was really magnificent and many a spine played host to a tingle or two I am sure – I know ours did!
